About Language On Hand

My name is Phil Guillory, MS, CCC-SLP, NIC, and I am an RID-certified ASL/English Interpreter and ASHA-certified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP).

As a community interpreter, I serve a variety of needs in a variety of settings, and I specialize in medical and mental health interpreting.

In my clinical work, I have also worked with many spoken language interpreters, from Spanish and Diné to Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, Tagalog, and more.

My experience as a medical SLP informs the work I do as an interpreter, and in turn my work as an interpreter has had a profound impact on the clinical services I provide.
